  • Nicole accepts most Anthem BCBS and Aetna plans.

  • You can reach out to your insurance to determine if you have out-of-network benefits in which they may reimburse you. We can create an invoice, called a Superbill, for you to submit to your insurance.

    If you do not have out-of-network benefits, ask about sliding scale options! We save a few spots for reduced fee clients.

  • This varies from person to person. In our initial few sessions we will explore your needs, wants, and goals for therapy to make sure this is a good fit for you. Ultimately, a positive foundation is created between the client (you!) and therapist before work is done. If you don’t feel comfortable with your therapist, therapy won’t benefit you. I strive to ensure the therapeutic relationship is strong!

  • Absolutely. Interns are therapists in training who have already completed extensive coursework before working with clients. They also receive regular supervision from licensed professionals to ensure they’re providing high-quality, ethical care. Even though they may seem new to the field, they are filled with passion and curiosity to ensure they provide clients with the best support possible.

  • Nope! We offer both in-person and virtual therapy.

  • Expressive arts use non-traditional avenues of therapy besides talking. This may include the use of painting, collage, music, dance, poetry, nature, journaling, etc. I understand that talking does not always come easy and other avenues can help you express yourself better.
